A long-form, editorially produced article written in the style of the relevant section and clearly labelled "Anzeige" (advertisement) or "Sponsored Content" — both visually and in the source code. Outbound links are marked rel="sponsored" by default. Topic and tone are agreed with the advertiser; fact-checking and final editing remain with the Option News editorial team.

Newsletter placement

A dedicated slot inside our weekly business and finance newsletter, Option Brief. Reach and click-through rates are reported back after every campaign.

Section sponsorship (category leadership)

Longer-term sponsorship of a thematic sub-section (e.g. retirement planning, comparison pages, crypto venues). The sponsor is disclosed in a static notice bar at the top of the section and in the imprint.

Comparison listings

Inclusion in our comparison pages follows the criteria set out in our methodology and is independent of any commercial relationship. Where affiliate links are used, they are flagged transparently at the top of the page.

What we will not do

• Native advertising without an unambiguous "Anzeige" label — we do not publish paid marketing as editorial copy.
• Adjusting scores or rankings on comparison pages in exchange for a commercial agreement.
• Listing providers in comparisons that lack EU supervisory authorisation or that violate consumer-protection rules.
• Advertising high-risk financial products that are not authorised for distribution in the DACH region — in particular CFD brokers without an EU establishment, unregulated crypto tokens or structures resembling Ponzi schemes.
